50 million single-wear outfits are bought every summer, as people turn to fast fashion for their last-minute holiday hauls.
The idea.
Building on eBay’s partnership with Love Island, we coined a new phrase, ‘Single-Wear Summer’, and brought together top fashion media, influencers, and members of the public to get behind our mission. To make second-hand shopping more accessible, we took eBay’s fashion marketplace into the real world with the first pre-loved vending machine. The vending machine popped up at a key travelling hotspot, so people could pick up emergency fits before catching their flight.
